Had a great time as usual.  Decided to work high power, un-assisted this year and was surprised to get a sweep in the CW contest but not in the SSB version.  After sandy caused such devistation on the east coast I didn't expect to hear NLI and others back on their feet in time for the CW contest.    So after getting a sweep in the CW test, I took for granted that it would be the same in the SSB test.  Well, that what I get for getting so self assured.  Missed PR and MB in the SSB test which are usually not a problem.  It just goes to show you (or show me) that you can't assume anything.  Both the CW and SSB tests are by far my favorites.  I look forward to them every year.  A special thanks to all the Sandy victims who were able to us all a shot at the affected sections.  73, Steve/k8bz
