 Our Council in Austin, TX seems to be "ramping up" awareness of amateur radio and the importance of emergency communication. I was honored to have the opportunity to organize a JOTA event at the Council Headquarters with two rigs setup for Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts to get "on-the-air". We only made about 25 QSO's but we're off to a great start!
