NF1O SKN 2013
as has been my tradition for many years, i used a key that i never used before. This year, I did not use one from my collection.
I used one from the desk of my friend Lou (WA1HGE) who became a Silent Key late in 2012.
While i am sure that many of the keys i have used over the years came from Silent Keys, this time it was personal.
Lou was the treasurer for the Granite State ARA as well as a Ham Doctor org.

During the SKN event I used my own call (NF1O) but also did an hour as K3Y/1 with the Straight Key Century Club 7th anniversary SES.
Radio used was My Elecraft K3 and wire antennas. I made a total of 27 QSOs and had a great time. as usual it was great to hear lots of manual Morse.

Thanks to all who worked me and to Lou, RIP my friend.
