SKN 2013 was loads of fun for me. I worked a total of nine stations in seven different states. I only operated on 80 meters and used my old Speed-X hand key throughout the entire event. Used my Ten Tec Jupiter and G5RV Dipiole.

My favorite SKN QSO was with K4KOR in Tenneessee and my vote for best Fist would have to go to Dan NI9Y.  Most of these operators on SKN were also members of the SKCC and this event allowed me to collect SKCC Numbers. In fact, the whole event of SKN was the motivating factor to the establishment of the SKCC. Many founding members loved SKN so much that in 2007 the SKCC was formed! Great group of operators.
