I had a lot of fun during the SKN "contest" - only 6 QSOs but each one was great!  I've been a ham since 1964 but just last March bought my first paddle and began using it with the keyer in my rig.  I really like CW now but having to resort back to a straight key for SKN was a struggle!  The "classic" part of my station for SKN was an Ameco straight key from my Novice days in 1964.  I enjoyed hearing the slight chirp on some of the older rigs - it brought back pleasant memories of my Novice days!  I heard several guys using Rangers - a rig I always wanted.  It would have gone very well with my NC300.
