It was 'fun' while things went right.

The 'push up' tent wouldn't push up, so we began operating in the sun.The genny got fixed this winter (bad gas over 2010) but began to overspeed. We moved back into the shack at nightfall, couldn't run teh genny during the night (neighbors you know). The backup machine ran flawlessly unitl the neighbor's mother-in-law (visiting from out of state) didn't like the noise, came over onto my property and unplugged my complete station, while I was on the air. The generator kept on running (DOH!) though. Yup, genny kept running for a whole 2 1/2 hours total, until the tank ran dry. Don't know if there is any internal damage to genny or the radio.

Otherwise, thanks to all on the 15 and 20 meter bands for the contacts. First time (in 30+ years) on these bands. 10 meters seemed kinda dead when I was on. Always next year, bigger generator and better antennas.
