Straight key night is one event I try never to miss.  Don't spend a lot of time, but try to make a contact or two.  Using the j38 straight key with the classic TenTec Century 21 CW transceiver just feels like the natural way to operate ham radio.  Had the VFO overhauled at the factory this last year, and it works great!  Never throw away an old radio; fix it, use it, have some vintage fun!  73, Ben Johnson ny0o
