Kevin, KM6KCP and I, Tom, KB7XL, jointly operated FD as 1B NV for the first time together after getting our novice licenses during our Freshman year of High School 50 years ago. It was about time! Maybe we should do it again. Not much of an antenna system, including a low level fan multiband fan dipole and the $4 satellite antenna designed by KG0ZZ but we still managed 122 contacts including 2 on satellite! All possible due to the support efforts of Deanna, Kevin's XYL. Pics are from the site in the Sweetwater Mountains near Desert Creek. We plan to vote Deanna in as Mayor of Desert Creek next year so we can grab another 100 bonus points!!
