K5Z will be operating to celebrate the 88th burning of Will Shuster's Zozobra (AKA "Old Man Gloom") by the Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe to begin the 2012 Fiesta de Santa Fe. Zozobra is a hideous fifty-foot tall boogeyman marionette, created in 1924 by Santa Fe artist Will Shuster, whose burning removes all our cares and troubles for another year.
