Like "Mr. Owl" sez on the Tootsie Roll tootsie pop commercial, "Let's find out!"

John, WA1JG is currently QRV on 50130 kHz.

He's CQ'in...

Hey, you never know!!! :-)

Wow the bands are hot today! I got a chance to get on the air a bit on 20m and had a really unpleasant experience. Someone not following the Amateur's Code decided to share his displeasure in a let just say, VERY inappropriate way. It was so bad I had to go QRT for awhile.

Seems that he is gone now, so Don N3HOW has hopped back on 20m. Let's hope that was the last time that happens this weekend.

National Safe Boating program information can be found at www.safeboatingcouncil.org - please do stop and visit that site for important information.

Well, there really isn't much to say about this next video (Joe and I are just hoping we still have jobs on Monday)....and Marjie is afraid of getting a demerit from the Power Squadrons

Yes, I have taken care of Joe, I did indeed read that blog!!

Anyway, after my morning of volunteering down at the TPC River Highlands, I'm here for the rest of the day for the US Power Squadrons Special Event Station! I'm so excited because my very first time on the air was here at W1AW with Don, N3HOW with the Power Squadrons in 2006. So this group has a particular fond spot in my heart.

Joe and I are working this weekend with these fine folks. And of course, what kind of special event at W1AW would it be without Joe and I creating our usual bit of antics on youtube.com! So check out our first video here:

Oh, and Katie, W1KRB *FINALLY* showed up!! :-) Something about some Golf Tournament or something she had to attend... (She's gonna smack me if she sees this entry!)

Seez ya!
