Additional Information: **Note location change** This class will prepare students to take the FCC examination for the entry-level Technician amateur radio license. There is no charge for the class although students need to obtain the Technician Study Guide, available from the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) at their website, http://www.arrl.org/shop/Licensing-Education-and-Training/. No special skills are required to take this class and people of all ages and all backgrounds have successfully passed the examination for the Technician License. Although an exam session is not provided with this class, the class is scheduled to conclude just one week prior to an exam session to be held in Nashville on September 9.
