November 2006 QST Feedback

In Figure 1 of "High Power dc Load for Power Supply and Battery Evaluation" [Oct 2006, p 61] the line connecting the bottom ends of the 2, 8.2 and 10 Ω power resistors should be connected to ground. -- tnx Bob Henry, KD5MHQ

In "The Doctor is IN," Sep 2006, p 46, Figure 1, the value of R16 should be 3900 Ω -- tnx Rich Bonkowski, W3HWJ, and others

Update: The "Short Takes" discussion of the MFJ-4116 Bias Tee Power Injector [May 2006, p 54] mentioned that it was rated at 200 W. MFJ has since increased the power rating to 1500 W. -- tnx Gary Senesac, AL9A

Clarification: With regard to "Hall of Famer Bob Heil, K9EID: 'It's all Because of Ham Radio!'" [Oct 2006, p 49], Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum Communications Coordinator Jenny Steadman notes that while the Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland has a Heil exhibit and that the Museum recognizes Bob Heil's contribution to the music industry, "Bob Heil is not [considered] an inductee of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame."
