Well, Tom (KB2SSS) and I did have a lot of fun in spite of the weather and some problems. We decided we would try to hand out some rarer grids this time. So instead of our usual FN21 and FN31 which couldn't be less rare, we went to FN35 and FN34. We also went to FN23 and FN22 which are somewhat rare, and made a couple of contacts as we went through FN33 on our trip from FN32 to FN23. Sure is a long drive to Canada and back, so we spent a lot more tome driving than operating! Our score showed that (only a bit above 30K instead of our usual 50+ K). The weather also hurt on sunday, a lot of rain and heavy fog. In fact, we even skipped our planned stop in FN33 on Mt. Equinox. We were running late anyway and at that point visability was down to at the very best hundreds of feet. (You can see some pictures on my web site):

We did have a real good visit with Ellis (WA1RKS) on our way north before the contest. It is always fun meeting up face to face with other VHF/UHF enthusiasts.
For a change, we did not have any equipment problems. Only Weather problems, Computer and logging problems, operational problems, etc. Overall conditions seemed to be rather poor, probably artly due to the weather.
Thanks to all
