FCC Enforcement Letters

September 29, 2004

City of Lubbock
P. O. Box 2000
Lubbock, Texas 79457
ATTN: Mayor Marc McDougal

RE: Warning Notice--Enforcement Case EB-2003-635

Dear Mayor McDougal:

On October 2, 2003, you were notified of a harmful radio interference problem, apparently caused by your utility's power lines, experienced by Mr. Bryan Edwards of 3801 68th Street, Lubbock. A copy of that letter is enclosed. No response was received to that letter, and you were again contacted on December 23, 2003 regarding the interference problem, but the City did not respond. Copies of both letters are enclosed.

Please be advised that if we do not receive a response by October 18, 2004, we will refer the matter to the Field Office for enforcement action. Such action may result in a monetary forfeiture.
