RE: Warning Notice--Radio frequency interference

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Pope:
This is in response to your letter dated September 9, 2004. In that letter you stated that you would solve the interference problem caused to Mr. William Cooper by "unplugging the chargers when not in use."
That solution is not acceptable. As we stated in our June 24 Warning Notice, the toroid filtering devices, which you discarded, solved the interference problem. The devices were simple, inexpensive and non-intrusive. The interference problem is your responsibility whether it is caused by your charging device or decorative lights on or around your residence.
Personal disputes you may have had with Mr. Cooper, conversations Mr. Cooper may have had with your neighbors, Mr. Cooper's alleged "looking at" your house or photographing your house, are totally irrelevant to your responsibility regarding the interference caused by Part 15 devices that you operate.
This matter has been referred to the regional FCC office for enforcement action.
