This week's bulletin was made possible with information provided by
NC1L, the OPDX Bulletin, DXNL, 425 DX News, The Daily DX, Contest
Corral from QST and the ARRL Contest Calendar and WA7BNM web sites.

UGANDA, 5X.  Nick, G3RWF is QRV as 5X1NH for two months.  He is
active generally on 80 and 40 meters during his early mornings and
evenings using mostly CW.  If propagation permits, he may be active
using SSB, RTTY and PSK31 as well.  QSL to home call.

ZAMBIA, 9J.  Gabriel, YO4HEK is QRV as 9J2YO and is here for one
year.  He is active on all bands using CW, SSB and PSK31.  QSL via
YO4ATW.

CAPE VERDE, D4.  Operators DL3KBQ, DL1COP, DJ2VO, DG3KAF, DL2RSI,
DH2KI and DL3PS are QRV as D44TXQ, D44TXP, D44TXO, D44TXF, D44TXR,
D44TXI and D44TXS, respectively, from Sal Island, IOTA AF-086, until
March 25.  Activity is on 160 to 10 meters using CW, SSB, RTTY,
SSTV, PSK31, Feld Hell and AMTOR with seven stations active.  QSL to
home calls.

CANARY ISLANDS, EA8.  Jon, LA3JJ is QRV as EA8/homecall from
Fuerteventura Island, IOTA AF-004, until March 26.  Activity is on
30 and 17 meters, and possibly 12 meters, using CW.  QSL to home
call.

REUNION ISLAND, FR.  Stephane, F5UOW is QRV as FR/homecall from
Boucan Canot until March 28.  Activity is on 20 meters using mostly
CW, holiday style.  QSL to home call.

NORTHERN IRELAND, GI.  Special event station GB5SPD will be QRV from
March 14 to 17 in celebration of St. Patrick's Day.  QSL via
operators' instructions.

ITALY, I.  Special event stations II0IDP, II0IDR, II0IGU, II1ICS,
II1IGG, II8ICN and II9ICF are QRV until March 22 while representing
former coast radio stations of the Italian Navy.  QSL via bureau.

GRENADA, J3.  Colin, G3VCQ and Sharon, M3VCQ are QRV as J38CW and
J38/M3VCQ, respectively, until March 26.  Activity is on 80 to 10
meters using CW, SSB and possibly RTTY and PSK.  Look for J38CW to
be an entry in the RSGB Commonwealth contest.  QSL both calls via
G3VCQ.

GUINEA-BISSAU, J5.  Peter, HA3AUI is QRV as J5UAP and is here until
March 31.  He is active on 160 to 6 meters using mostly digital
modes with some CW and SSB.  QSL to home call.

MINAMI TORISHIMA, JD1.  Masa, JD1BMM is QRV from Marcus Island, IOTA
OC-073, until March 22 while on business.  Activity is on 160 to 10
meters using CW, SSB and digital modes in his spare time.  QSL
direct.

FAROE ISLANDS, OY.  Lars, OZ1FJB will be QRV as OY/homecall from
March 16 to April 1.  Activity will be on the HF bands using mostly
CW with some SSB.  He will also be active on 60 Meters on 5403.5 kHz
between 2100 and 2359z and then from 0600 to 0700z.  QSL to home
call.

TURKEY, TA.  Members of the TC Special Wireless Activity Team will
be QRV as TC18M from March 17 to 19 from Canakkale on the Asiatic
side of the Dardanelles to commemorate the 94th anniversary of the
naval battle of Gallipoli.  Activity will be on all HF bands using
CW and SSB.  QSL via TA3FB.

EUROPEAN RUSSIA, UA.  Special event station R150ASP will be QRV from
Gogland Island, IOTA EU-133, from March 14 to 17 to celebrate the
150th anniversary of radio pioneer Alexander Stepanovich Popov.
Activity will be on all HF bands using CW, SSB and digital modes.
QSL via RF3C.

ST. KITTS AND NEVIS, V4.  Nick, G4FAL is QRV as V4/G4FAL from St.
Kitts, IOTA NA-104, until March 17.  Activity is on 80 to 10 meters
using mostly CW.  This includes being an entry in the RSGB
Commonwealth contest as V47CD.  QSL to home call.

COCOS (KEELING) ISLAND, VK9C.  Bernd, VK2IA will be QRV as VK9AA
from March 14 to 27.  Activity will be on 160 to 10 meters using CW
and SSB.  QSL via DL8YR.

CAMBODIA, XU.  Yuki, JH1NBN should be QRV as XU7ADJ from Phnom Penh
and Preah Vihear from March 14 to 20.  He will be here on business
and active as time allows.  QSL to home call.

OPERATION APPROVED FOR DXCC CREDIT.  The following operation is
approved for DXCC credit:  Desecheo Island, K5D, 2009 operation.

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  The North American RTTY Sprint, CLARA HF
Contest, NCCC Sprint, HA3NS Sprint Memorial Contest, RSGB
Commonwealth CW Contest, AGCW QRP CW Contest, ARCI HF Grid Square CW
Sprint, EA PSK31 Contest, SOC Marathon CW Sprint, Elecraft QSO
Party, Idaho QSO Party, UBA Spring 6-Meter Contest and Wisconsin QSO
Party will certainly keep contesters busy this upcoming weekend.
The Run for the Bacon QRP CW Contest and Bucharest Contest are both
scheduled for March 16.  Please see March QST, page 78 and the ARRL
and WA7BNM contest web sites for details.
