This week's bulletin was made possible with information provided by
QRZ DX, the OPDX Bulletin, 425 DX News, The Daily DX, DXNL, Contest
Corral from QST and the ARRL Contest Calendar and WA7BNM web sites.

VIETNAM, XV.  Malcolm, VK6LC will be QRV from August 12 to September
10 as XV2LC from Ho Chi Minh City and as XV4LC from the Mekong
Delta.  Look for him mostly on CW with some SSB.  QSL via VK6LC.

EAST MALAYSIA, 9M6.  Mirek, VK6DXI is currently working in Kuala
Lumpur, and will be QRV as 9M8DX/2 until August 13.  He'll be on the
air in his spare time, after work during his evening hours.  QSL via
SP5UAF.

NETHERLANDS, PD.  Jelle, PD5JFK and Bernard, PD7BZ will be active as
PD6MILL from the ''De Eendracht'' windmill from September 16 to 20.
They will be QRV on SSB and digital modes on 40, 20 and 10 meters
and on 2 meter FM.  All QSOs will be confirmed automatically via the
bureau and eQCL.cc.  Direct cards should be sent to PD7BZ.

NORWAY, LA.  The NRRL Club station LA1J will be active during the
International Lighthouse Lightship Weekend from Obrestad Lighthouse.
They will be on the air from August 16 to 22 with five stations on
160 through 6 meters.  QSL via the bureau.

RODRIGUEZ ISLAND, 3B9.  Giorgio, IZ4AKS will be active as 3B9/IZ4AKS
from August 28 to September 4.  Activity will be holiday style.
Look for him on 40-10 meters, mainly SSB, but possibly RTTY and CW
as well.  QSL direct only.

SVALBARD, JW.  JW/SQ5BPF is now operating from Hornsund Polish
Polar Station.  He'll be QRV on the HF bands until August 24.  QSL
via SQ5BPF, preferably via the SP Bureau.

TAIWAN, BW.  Dennis, KT8X will be on the air as BW/KT8X from August
27 to September 6.  He'll be QRV in his spare time.  QSL via LoTW.

KYRGYZSTAN, EX.  Operators Mike, UN8GC and Oleg, EX8MLT will be
active as EX9FF from Issyk Kul Lake until August 14.  QSL only
direct to UN8GC or by the LoTW.

CHESTERFIELD ISLANDS, FK.  Michel, FK8IK is here as part of a
scientific expedition until August 19.  Look for him to be active
during his spare time as FK8IK/C on 80-10 meters using CW.  QSL via
his home address:  P.O. Box 14639, 98803 Noumea, NEW CALEDONIA.

GREECE, J48.  Laci, HA0HW will be active as J48HW from Thassos
Island (IOTA EU-174) from August 28 to September 7.  He usually
operates CW, with some SSB, RTTY and PSK31 as well, mainly on 40,
30, 20, 17 and 6 meters.  QSL via his home call sign, direct or via
the HA Bureau.

PALAU, T8.  Operators Takio, JH3QFL and Haruki, JH3KEA will be
active as T88TB and T88KH, respectively, from September 19 to 22.
Activity will be on 80-6 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY.  QSL direct
to their home call sign or via the bureau.

UNITED STATES, WC5.  Members of the Tri-County Amateur Radio Club
(WC5C) will once again activate Pelican Island (TX050L) on August
14, starting at 1400z.  Pelican Island is an uninhabited island on
Eagle Mountain Lake in North Central Texas.  The club members make
an adventure of it, getting to the Island by kayak, canoe and
various other water craft.  Activity will be typically 40, 20, 15
and 10 meters.  Modes are usually CW and SSB, sometimes satellite FM
and PSK31.  QSL info is available on QRZ.com.

TRISTAN DA CUNHA AND GOUGH ISLANDS, ZD9.  John, ZS1LF will be active
as ZD9GI from Gough Island (AF-039) between September 2010 and
September 2011.  Activity will be on 160-10 meters mainly on SSB,
but possibly some digital modes later.  QSL direct to:  Johan
Sevenster, 2 Roozeboom STR - de Bron, Bellville, 7530, South Africa,
or via the bureau.

APPROVED FOR DXCC CREDIT.  The following operation is approved for
DXCC credit:  9UXEV, Burundi, 2010 Operation.

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  The Worked All Europe Contest, Keymen's
Club of Japan Contest, Maryland-DC QSO Party, Feld-Hell Monthly
Sprint and the ARRL Rookie Roundup are on tap for this weekend.
