ARLP006 Propagation de KT7H

Average solar flux was down a bit last week. The quiet geomagnetic
conditions ended after January 28 when the A index rose above 20 for
several days. The K index was up to five over several periods on
January 30 and 31.

Solar flux should drop to the mid 70s around February 12, and then
peak again around 92 from February 18 through 21. Recurring coronal
holes should cause disturbances around February 13 and 14 and again
around February 26 and 27. Look for really good stable conditions
with low A and K indices around February 8 through 11.

Sunspot Numbers for January 26 through February 1 were 54, 36, 51,
25, 43, 55 and 66, with a mean of 47.1. 10.7 cm flux was 85.7,
88.5, 82.7, 84.6, 86.5, 86.7 and 87.1, with a mean of 86.

The path projection for this week is from Dallas, Texas to Christmas
Island, VK9X.

80 meters should be open from 1130 to 1330z, and 40 meters from 1100
to 1430. Check 30 meters around 1000 to 1100 and again from 1400 to
1530. Check 20 meters from 1530 to 1800, and 17 meters around 1630
and again around 2300 to 2330.
