Solar flux was up slightly last week over the previous week.  Stable
conditions have been reflected by a declining A index.  Activity
should be heading down for the near term, with flux bottoming in the
low 70s between May 17 and 20.  After that the flux should peak in
the 90s following June 1.
 
Sunspot Numbers for May 4 through 10 were 12, 14, 22, 12, 13, 13 and
26, with a mean of 16.  10.7 cm flux was 70.6, 72.9, 76.4, 77.6, 78,
77.8 and 77.8, with a mean of 73.
 
This week's path projection is to Zaire from Atlanta, Georgia.
 
80 meters should be open from 0030 to 0430z, and 40 meters from 0000
to 0500.  Check 30 meters from 2300 to 0300 and again around 0500 to
0630.  20 meters should be good from 2000 to 0100, and on most days
17 meters should be usable from 1630 to 0000.
