ARLP040 Propagation de KT7H

Average solar flux and sunspot numbers were up just a few points
this week over last. Geomagnetic activity was quite low, except for
September 15, when the A index went to 18.

Solar flux may peak for the short term this weekend around 80, then
drift back toward a minimum near 70 stretched over the first half of
October. Look for active geomagnetic conditions from a coronal hole
which returns October 2 through 5.

We are now moving into Fall, which should bring some seasonal
improvement in propagation, although solar activity is so low during
this part of the cycle that HF propagation is depressed.

Sunspot Numbers for September 14 through 20 were 0, 15, 11, 0, 0, 18
and 20, with a mean of 9.1. 10.7 cm flux was 69.5, 70.1, 69.6,
69.8, 71.6, 73.6 and 75.5, with a mean of 71.4.
