Here is information about ARRL (and non-ARRL) Frequency Measuring Tests.
New Frequency Measuring Test Schedule
A new set of transmissions has been added to the November 2009 Frequency Measuring Test. K5CM in Oklahoma will make additional transmissions on 160 and 80 meters following the transmissions of West Coast station WA6ZTY. K5CM's central location should provide a much stronger signal in mid-continental areas. The complete schedule for the FMT is as follows:
W1AW beginning at 0245Z
80 meters - near 3597 kHz
40 meters - near 7097 kHz
WA6ZTY beginning at 0300Z
40 meters - near 7096 kHz
K5CM beginning at 0315Z
160 meters - near 1845 kHz
80 meters - near 3578 kHz
All transmissions will consist of a call-up/QST transmission lasting for approximately three-minutes, followed by three 20-second key-down periods of unmodulated carrier.
