See the Installation Notes for help installing the ARRL Antenna Book CD, particularly under WINDOWS VISTA.

Using Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 (and other versions) with the Antenna Book CD

The ARRL Antenna Book CD 1.0 comes with Adobe Acrobat Reader with Search version 3.01. Adobe's Search plug-in is required to do word or phrase searches in the index. Any version of Adobe Acrobat Reader will work fine with the Antenna Book CD, but Acrobat Reader with Search is required to make use of the index.

Acrobat Reader with Search 4.0 is now available at http://www.adobe.com/prodindex/acrobat/readstep.html.

Adobe's web site can be found at http://www.adobe.com/.
Acrobat Reader and Acrobat Reader with Search can be freely downloaded from http://www.adobe.com/prodindex/acrobat/readstep.html.

If none of these solutions helped you install your ARRL software, contact the Electronic Publications Branch.
