Scholarship Program

ARRL Foundation Scholarships

Each year the ARRL Foundation awards more than 70 scholarships to young hams who are pursuing higher education.  The awards range from $500 to $5000.  All applicants must submit a full online application and transcript to be considered.

Applications are due between midnight October 1 and midnight January 31.

Transcripts and the FAFSA document should be sent electronically to foundation@arrl.org.

Awards are usually announced to the winners by letter in mid-May.

How to establish and ARRL Foundation Scholarship

Individuals, groups or clubs wishing to establish an ARRL Foundation Scholarship should go to www.arrl.org/sample-terms-of-reference page. If more information is needed, contact the ARRL Foundation by email at foundation@arrl.org or by phone to 860-594-0397.
